I'm afraid I've been concentrating on my stash room purge and upcoming sale, so I'm a few sessions behind in CJS. And I've another online class starting on the 20th. Are you keeping up with CJS? I hope to be back to normal participation on WOYWW and blog visiting next month. Happy WOYWW! A tually, not failed attempts, maybe just perfect right off the bat. :). I wanted to thank you so much for your inspiring comments you left on my blog. It makes me so happy to know that I inspire you and that it meant enough for you to leave a comment. I also love the sentiment you left on my comment about change being a good thing. I am excited about what may lie ahead. Congrats on your new house! I really hope we will be able to start ours this spring . You should give yourself a pat on the back for being brave and trying new techniques. I know Julie Fei-Fan Balzer does a lot with her gelli plate, but I don't know whether she's got any "how to" videos or anything. The inchie project sounds really fun. It's hard to stick to anything every day -- other than eating and sleeping. ha, ha. I'm sorry that your first attempts at the peanut butter and Gelli plate didn't work for you. It is all WAY over my head, so I'm of no use, but I'll bet lots of these other creative WOYWWers will have advice for you. Your tried and true method turned out ace!!

And wow, good for you to have a dedicated inchie project, maybe for the whole year! Guaranteed time each day in the Fun Room is an awesome start to 2014 for you!! Happy Belated WOYWW and thank you for coming to visit me! Enjoy the rest of the week!! I do love the design you came up with - you just made it your own using the techniques you know - and look how GREAT it came out! I love the tin. I've been saving my Altoid tins and have only altered one. I love the distressed look of yours. On your desk I couldn't help but notice the woman with the pasties! I see you only used her face on the tin. tee hee

Oh, and yes please save your bottle caps! I will be happy to reimburse you for any mailing cost and make you a pair of earrings, if you'd like a pair. I don't drink beer but I might start going down the beer aisle and look at the bottle caps, buy it and tell my friend to empty the bottles for me!

It sounds like you had a great holiday full of family and friends. I've only been to Alaska once and that was on an inside passage cruise (Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, Tracy Arm Fjord and Victoria, BC). It was the first week of June and we were the only cruise ship in the ports - it was perfect. I would love to go back some day and explore the interior of the state. Where are you located?

Thank you for visiting me. And thank you for offering to save some bottlecaps!!

Happy WOYWW!
Peace, Kay (42)505whimsygirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16594635228441769910noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4714300221415620279.post-89299417119233247442014-01-09T05:36:25.284-09:002014-01-09T05:36:25.284-09:00No gelli page can be a disaster, they are all work...No gelli page can be a disaster, they are all works of art in the making, just add more layers and they work out brilliant in the end.
